2010 International Oral Arsenic Union

The Annual Scientific Meeting of the Hong Kong Society is approaching its 40th anniversary and has developed into a regional highlight event in hematology. As before, a variety of thematic topics, corporate symposia, exhibits, and bilingual presentations is tailored for hundreds of local, mainland and overseas attendees. The annual theme for 2010 is ORAL Arsenic therapy for acute promyelocytic leukemia. We are have top experts from literally all continents. The use of Arsenic trioxide treatment, pioneered in China, has revolutionized APL treatment, and this meeting brings the amazing compound back home to its origin. And Hong Kong, with its substantial experience in ORAL therapy treatment, is ready to share this remarkable experience with the rest of the world *. An exciting post-congress Symposium is also planned in tandem with the Macau Society of Hematology tailored for our Chinese speaking colleagues. We are sure that the event will be a landmark for Haematology in Hong Kong and China, and a milestone in Arsenic therapy in the world. 

香港血液科學會週年學術大會正邁向四十週年，及已成為區內重點交流項目。一如以往，我們準備了豐富的學術討論及展覽，給本地及國內外的血液科代表。2010大會主題為口服氧化砷治療，而來自五大洲的專家將濟濟一堂參與討論。砷治療源自中國，而作為口服氧化砷的先驅，我們很高興可和全世界分享香港製造的口服氧化砷。年會後我們還和澳門血液學會合辦一普通話交流會，我們深信是次會議將為香港及中國血液學及國際口服砷治療寫上重要里程碑。
